SUMMER SESSION: Questions to Awaken Your Heart, Mind, and Soul.

Here is a question that will help you reflect, clarify, and celebrate your story.

Sometimes it simply takes the spark of a questions to ignite an inner flame, illuminating where you have been, where you are in this moment, and where you heart is longing to go.

Ask yourself, ask your friends, your partner, your children, or ask a stranger this week’s question, and watch the miracles unfold before you!

This week’s question is:

What Would You Stand Up For?

There are so many ways to interpret this question, and like all questions, there are endless answers. You can answer with what speaks to your soul and drives your humanity to stand up and say, pay attention here! You may find your answer in the places that set your heart on fire, that feel so right, were you feel so empowered, joyful and optimistic. You may find your answer when you can’t sit on the sidelines, because you see things being drowned out, going wrong, forgotten, unseen, or miss understood. There are lots of platforms and pursuits, in our ever-changing world, that may quickly come to your mind.

Alicia Hartzell Awakening to Your StoryRemember your voice is a powerful tool. As you get curious and think on this week’s question, I wonder if you would stand up for a friend, or loved one. I can hear your answer now, “Of course I would” coming back to me. What if it were against a bully? Would you stand up for your friends and loved ones against a bully? Would you do it even if it were uncomfortable? What about standing up against a bully for a stranger, would you do that?

Ok let’s take it farther. Would you stand up for yourself against a bully? What if the bullying was an inside job? What if it was the voices of limitation in your own mind? Because here is the thing, we have so many negative thoughts that try to take over all day. They come in the form of our own voice, so we give them full reign and power over our path forward, without even second guessing them.  So think about if you would stand up against the lies and limiting beliefs that echo in your mind. Remember, you can take the power back one thought at a time.

A Few Things To Deepen Your Experience With This Week’s Question

  1. Don’t Stop At One Answer:
Take the larger macro scape questions; “What would you stand up for?” and shift it to a micro view while taking it inward. Ask yourself, “What limiting belief did I put in its place by standing up for my truth today?” Shifting the question like this helps you see that your truth is not just a one off experience.
  2. My Favorite Thing About Standing Up For Something:
My favorite thing about standing up for something important to you, is that it feeds an inner fire of power and reminds you of what is possible when you use your voice.
  3. Use The Question to Stay Plugged Into Your Truth:
Keep this week’s question stoking the fire of inner curiosity and let it help you stay plugged into your truth.  A couple of the “I AM Essential Truths” that work really well with this week’s question are: I AM VULNERABLE, I AM LOVE and I AM GROUNDED.

My Answer To This Week’s Question Goes Like This…

I would stand up for your truth, all day, everyday. My favorite kind of truth is the divine and essential kind that divinity wove right into humanity. Here is the thing; I can see it all in you. I can see the pain, Alicia Hartzell Awakening to Your Storythe truth, the divinity, the humanity, the map of how it all plays out in your heart, and the valuable in it all. I believe in you so much that I have made it my life’s work. I will stand up for you, your heart, your truth, the power and purpose in your existence, until I take my last breath. I will stand up for you when no one else will, when you can’t even stand up for yourself. If you need help standing up against the limiting beliefs that bombard you each and everyday, I am here for you.

Now my micro response for this week’s question is that I am going to keep an eye on my own limiting voices. I am going stand up to them with truth at every turn and stop them before they can gain traction. Who is with me on this week’s quest to stand up for your own personal truth?

I can’t wait to hear about what you would stand up for. Remember, there are no wrong answers and no judgment, just curiosity and enthusiasm for whatever comes to the forefront of your consciousness.

Please share your thought and stands with me. I want to hear about the big ones and the smaller daily ones too. Write them in the comments on the blog and social media, or reply to the weekly email is you want to keep them more private.

Remember I am always here to teach, support, and inspire you with heart-centered solutions for your everyday problems.
xoxo- Alicia
