Hello There Beautiful Being,
Do you ever feel like happiness is an unreasonable or shallow desire? Happiness has somehow gotten a bum wrap along the way. I can’t tell you how many clients tell me that happiness feels off limits.
The illusion of separation comes in many forms. The spectrum starts with the idea that happiness is shallow and ends somewhere on a notion that you simply aren’t worthy of happiness. No matter where the voices in your head land, if they are telling you that happiness is not within your reach, they are lying to you.
What happens when you have a fundamental truth that says happiness is essential to your being, and a contradicting limiting belief that says happiness is off limits? You end up trying to plug things in to fill a void that the truth is designed to hold. Food, drugs, TV, other people, alcohol, you pick your happiness placeholder. On their own, these things can be value adds to your life, but they were never designed to be a placeholder for your happiness.
There are many expressions of happiness and equally as many reflection of this fundamental truth waiting to be acknowledged in your life. You are designed to hold tremendous happiness. As you are aligned with your divine truth and plugged into source energy, you find a wellspring of happiness.
Let’s wash those limiting beliefs with divine light as you return to your truth, I AM HAPPY. Let every cell of your being be delighted and tickled as the happiness within you begins to shine through.
BONUS Ways to Own Your Truth:
Find an image of yourself where you feel happy, add some text to the image, and put that physical representation of your truth where you can see it. This is a photo of me as a child on Christmas morning. Before circumstances told me that happiness was off limits, this was my typical outlook on life. I gave a mouth-wide-open-smile as I took on the world. It is a great reminder of what is fundamental to my being.
Once you create your image post it on social media with a note about your truth. It’s valuable to claim your truth externally as much as you do internally. Use the #awakeningtoyourstory
