Summer Session Q & A

Do you ever feel bogged down by the painful things you see happening in the world or reflected on social media? Today’s question asks about valance, rape, shootings, hunger and global warming and how to better deal with them. But, we are no longer just reacting to the tragic things we see in our society, we are reacting to our social differences too.

Today’s Summer Session Q & A taps right into that “blood boiling and bogged down” place of reaction you may find yourself.

QUESTION:

“How do you deal with the big bad stuff in the world, like global warming, hunger, rape, violence, and mass shooting. Sometimes I feel like I just can’t shake it. Is there a way to make it better?” – Plagued By Pain

ANSWER:

It can be difficult to avoid being swept up in the pain, suffering and insanity that happens in the world. In situations where safety is an issue, reaction can be the very thing that saves you. But when you are more removed from a situation, reaction is rarely productive, but can actually dig you even deeper into the suffering.

Peace from suffering happens one person at a time, and my love, that person has to be you! In this week’s video we talk about some better approaches to interacting with the suffering or pain that you see in the world or on social media.

Remember, you are never alone in your humanity. Let me know your questions and concerns in life and if I can help I will. Until next time know that I am holding a space of love for you where the truth is undeniable.

XOXO- Me
